Patriotism Never Goes Out of Style

community

As our blogger dog, I wear many hats and many styles around the year. During the summers, I like to put on my Uncle Sam stovepipe hat, like you see here. But just because I wear this hat during summer doesn’t mean patriotism is only in fashion at one time of the year. The truth is that patriotism never goes out of style! That’s not just something I believe. It’s something all of us here at Russell & Abbott believe.

The Fourth of July—a.k.a. Independence Day—is a celebration of tradition, our families, our homes, and our service to God and country. These are all values that Russell & Abbott respects. After all, we’re in this business to be a service to the community—seeing that homes and families have the comfort they need. We take our community service seriously, and it extends to outside of the business: many of the members of our Russell & Abbott family are part of civic clubs and non-profit organizations.

The Fourth of July is also a great time of year to have fun outdoors, and that means community celebrations. Which leads me to my next announcement…

The Russell & Abbott Ice Box Is Coming to Two Local Events!

Guess what’s back? Yes, it’s the Russell & Abbott “Ice Box”! This is our little oasis from the heat that we bring to special events in Blount County. There’s no magic to the Ice Box, except the magic of great HVAC design: when you walk into the Ice Box, the cooling you feel is coming from a powerful air conditioning system, just like the ones we install and service in homes in the area.

Here are two great local celebrations where we’ll be taking the Ice Box. Stop by, get cool, and say hello!

  • Freedom Fest on Saturday, June 30 – It’s the 40th Annual City of Alcoa Freedom Fest, the city’s enormously popular Independence Day celebration. It’s a family-friendly event held from 6 PM to 11 PM at the Alcoa Duck Pond. Music, fireworks, food, and of course our Ice Box so you can chill out.
  • Summer on Broadway, June 22 and 23 – Come to Downtown Maryville for the town’s premiere summer festival, where we celebrate the season and the region! There’ll be craft beer, BBQ, and yep, our Ice Box.

We hope as you enjoy stepping out of the heat into the Ice Box that you’ll remember to keep up your home’s AC system this summer season—and rely on our team to do the work! We want you to get the most from the summer fun by ensuring you’ll always have your own oasis of cool to go back to in your home.

Call us for Farragut, TN, AC services—or air conditioning services anywhere in Blount County, Knox County, or Loudon County.

Stay red, white, and blue, and totally cool,

Olive
